    Sunriver Chamber of Commerce Executive Director


    OVERVIEW
    The Sunriver Chamber of Commerce is seeking to fill the position of Executive Director to oversee the operation of the Chamber, supporting members and Board of Directors. Sunriver is located in scenic Central Oregon, approximately 15 miles south of Bend. The community is a vibrant and active community with an economy primarily driven by strong tourism. At the same time there is a healthy community of full-time residents supporting local businesses.

    POSITION
    The successful Executive Director candidate will demonstrate effective professionalism, leadership, community and business engagement, creativity and passion.  Demonstrated skills include managing social media and web-based platforms, business operations, financial management and ability to work independently. A Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in a leadership or management position is desired. 

    DETAILS
    This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Required day or evening meetings/events are part of the responsibility of the Director. This is a remote position; although it is expected the Director is in the community to carry out the required interface with members and the community.
    Salary is $50,000, plus incentives for Chamber membership growth.
    Benefits include a $5,000 annual Health Insurance stipend.
